Arlene Smyth
I am Arlene Smyth the Executive Officer of the Turner Syndrome Support Society [TSSS] and proud Mother of two beautiful daughters Carlene and Kylie who was diagnosed with Turner Syndrome [TS] at birth. I am married to Peter we live in Clydeban. When Kylie was born, there was limited information available about her condition. I went on a mission to find information and meet others with TS. I have been involved with Turner Syndrome ever since and I enjoyed supporting families more with each passing day.
I have been working for the TSSS for many years and continue to build the TSSS into the successful organisation it is today. The TSSS has become such a large part of my life that it involves my whole family.
During the last 33 years I have gained a wealth of knowledge & experience which I enjoy sharing to continue to improve the quality of life of all those affected by TS. I have been involved in the Clinical practice guidelines for the care of girls and women with Turner Syndrome.
