Description

Thanks for joining the Link Up community. West Dunbartonshire Community and Volunteering Services developed this site with the aim of helping local people and organisations to share the great things that they do.

Every day people approach us at WDCVS looking for information about local charities, community groups, events, access to resources or opportunities to volunteer in the area. We do our best to connect the right people, but we can't keep up to date with what's going on week to week - there are over 600 charities and groups actively operating in West Dunbartonshire.

That's where Link Up comes in. We know the best person to tell your story is you, and link up is the platform to share that story. Link Up has been designed from the ground up for West Dunbartonshire by our friends Icecream Architecture, who over the coming weeks and months will be adding even more functions to help you to find out what's happening in your area; to connect, share and get involved.

We think Link Up has the potential to be something great and what we need now is you - the community! We need you get behind Link Up, to shout about it and to bring all your friends along to join in. If you are registered and posting on Link Up then well done! You are already helping us to build our community. Please continue to spread the word.

If you'd like to be more intensivly involved then we're looking Volunteer Link Up Ambassadors. Individuals or organisations who will help us to spread the word. Not only by encouraging family, friends, clients and colleagues to take part but also providing the additional support to help them get online. We'll also ask for your honest feedback and opinions to shape the future development of the site.

So if you think you're up to the role, then apply below. We'll be in touch soon!
