The volunteer broker role is a peer mentoring role where brokers support other volunteers as they progress into their own volunteering opportunity. The role is to support volunteers into their chosen opportunity by going through the registration process, either face to face or by telephone, inputting data into the database.
We also discuss and select potential opportunities based on the information they provide. Each volunteer enters our follow up process where they are contacted regularly in order to monitor their progress. As part of the follow up you will be contacting the volunteers and organisations to support both in making the volunteering relationship happen and to make the journey into volunteering as simple as possible
