We are looking for help with typing up all our fieldwork from the wildlife surveys. This role would be putting data into an excel spreadsheet. This important role helps us contribute our wildlife records to a national monitoring scheme which helps with identifying trends such as bee populations for example. Records will then be send to the local records department based in Glasgow Museums Resource Centre. We also have historic species records that need to be typed up as well. The entry will include handling grid reerfences, common names and latin names. This post would suit someone with access to their own pc. Some wildlife knowledge would be helpful but not essential. This role could be split between 3 people, 1 person per site - balloch park, the saltings and brucehill cliffs and meadow.
There are occassions where some data may be sensitive. This post will require an informal interview, over the phone or in Balloch park. Min age 16.
