Description

Why we need you:
RSPB Scotland Loch Lomond is an amazing place for wildlife, and we want to show it off to as many people as we can! It is also a vast and varied landscape, so many visitors to the National Park would prefer to be shown around by someone knowledgeable. That's where you come in!

We're looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable people who are willing to share their knowledge with others, be it about birds, plants, insects or history, and would be happy to guide others around the RSPB Loch Lomond site.

What's in it for you?
A great opportunity to learn more about the reserve and spend more time in a beautiful location, plus the opportunity to meet many people of different ages, backgrounds and knowledge levels. Some walks will involve leading groups onto parts of the reserve not usually advertised to the public.

The RSPB is an active and exciting conservation charity, the largest in Europe! We can help you gain skills and give you a valuable insight into our work.

The skills you need:
Good natural or local history knowledge, a desire to help people and enthusiasm! Outgoing personality with reasonable knowledge of wildlife and good communication skills. You will also need to be reasonably fit to deal with the terrain. First aid training would be desirable but can be provided if necessary.

Other notes:
A full induction and appropriate training will be provided. As you will be giving up your time, we will cover travel expenses (up to 25miles.)

The RSPB is the UK's largest nature conservation organisation charity, inspiring everyone to give nature a home.
