The volunteer role is to represent and promote the work of the Hospice in the local community, by fundraising and inspiring local support, support with the planning, organisation and delivery of community based/hospice fundraising events, sharing information on the Hospice at community events and promote fundraising initiatives.
We would like someone who can assist at bucket/can collections and bag pack events, attend community events and promote the importance of fundraising and ‘becoming a St Margaret of Scotland Hospice Volunteer’ initiative, fulfilling the role of event marshal (e.g., Ladies Midnight Walk) or host at Community Fundraising Events and to act as an ambassador for the Hospice within the local community
The Hospice is served by trains from both Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street as well as by local bus services.
