Robin House is looking to grow volunteering within the housekeeping team. At Robin House we aim to create and environment that is homely and comfortable but has to kept to a clinical standard of cleanliness. It takes a big dedicated team to do this!
Duties include cleaning touch points such as door handles, light switches, vacuuming, landry and general cleaning throughout the house.
There are no set shifts and volunteering can take place any day of the week between 8am - 7pm. Most volunteers choose a set day and time and volunteer either weekly or fortnightly.
You will be supported by a great Housekeeping Team and will be providing one of the crucial roles in the hospice in keeping vulnerable families safe not just from Covid 19 but other forms of germs and viruses.
Core learning will be given before you start ef Fire Safety, Health and Safety.

Robin House is situated beside the back gates of Balloch Country Park. We have plenty parking including disabled parking.
If travelling by public transport there are buses and trains with a 10 - 15 walk from the nearest bus/train station.
We happily reimburse volunteers for their travel expenses to and from the hospice. Details will be given as part of your induction.
