Here at Robin House we provide a small range of Complementary Therapies to families using our hospice services.
We are looking to grow our Complementary Therapy team and recruit more volunteers to the role who have the right skills, experience and of course personality to create a welcoming and much needed 'me time' for families using our services
In line with our insurance we can offer families Reiki, Light touch massage, Reflexology, Massage (including aromatherapy), Shiatsu. There are some therapies we are not permitted to offer due to the limits of our insurance this includes hot stone massage.
Therapies are open to family members and carers and children (in consultation with our clinical team). Our therapists volunteer on an ad-hoc basis, volunteering at a time that suits them.
We ask the volunteers are insured and registered with a recognised Complementary Therapy body.
Volunteers provided their own oils and for which we will reimburse expenses. We have a dedicated private therapy room within Robin House.

Robin House is situated beside the back gates of Balloch Country Park. We have plenty parking including disabled parking.
If travelling by public transport there are buses and trains with a 10 - 15 walk from the nearest bus/train station.
We happily reimburse volunteers for their travel expenses to and from the hospice. Details will be given as part of your induction.
