We are looking for someone who enjoys arts and crafts. Ideally, this would be someone who would enjoy spending a few hours a week delivering a variety of art and craft activities and teaching art techniques to a group of families to a maximum of up to 20 people attending an art workshop. The role includes setting up and organising activities for that day and clearing away the materials. The volunteer will work with the Community Engagement Ranger present, to carry out these activities which will be rolled out to family groups (parents/guardians with their children). This can include helping them with the correct use of art materials, assisting with drawing using pens, crayons and pastels as well as painting with acrylics and watercolours and other craft activities. We would be happy for you to bring your own skills and art and craft ideas to the group and encourage those participating to take part.
