Buddy-Up

We are a voluntary programme delivered by Ysortit, which supports young people aged 8-14 in kinship care or 14-18 year olds with any care experience. This includes young people who are looked after at home, looked after and accommodated, in kinship care or foster care. Buddy-Up is designed to provide young people with the opportunity to develop a positive relationship with an adult within their local community. This relationship seeks to increase the self-esteem and self-confidence of the young people involved, developing more positive social relationships within West-Dunbartonshire.
