We are looking for volunteers to staff the office on Dumbarton Central train station platform. We have a small shop where we fund raise for the Association which involves working with the public, minimal cash handling and paperwork. There is also the opportunity to help create displays, conduct research and update our social media pages. We require individuals who have some time to spare, even a few hours per week, to help in our office. Our volunteers will work with the Co-ordinator and Secretary in keeping the office open and running. This role will include but is not limited to: Meeting members of the public, Helping at fundraisers, if possible; Counting of money raised; Helping maintain stock; Rotating of items in the office Helping out with the Heritage Centre. Managing the front desk, Filing duties Computer work ie word documents, spreadsheets, etc. Days within the office are fluid on a day to day basis and the individual would require to be flexible in turning their hand to many other tasks.
